From the 'Thursday' magazine! I'm not sure of the yield, so, I'm just doing guess work here. Ingredients:
250 g soybeans |
1 cup yogurt |
1 lemon, juice of |
water, as required |
Directions:
1. Soak soyabeans in water for 12-15 hours. 2. Grind to a fine paste and extract milk by adding sufficient water and passing it through a fine muslin cloth. 3. Heat the milk obtained, stirring off and on, to prevent burning. 4. Bring to a boil. 5. Add yogurt and lemon juice. 6. Stir until completely curdled. 7. Allow the curdled milk to settle and pass it through a muslin cloth. 8. The resultant mass is tofu. 9. This tofu can be used like paneer in many dishes! 10.
