Hoummus b'Tahini is a chick pea dip served as part of a mezza platter (finger foods) and usually found in Lebanese bread wraps with Kibbi and Tabbouleh Ingredients:

400g canned chick peas, rinsed and drained |
3 cloves garlic crushed |
salt |
4 tablespoons tahini |
1/2 cup lemon juice |
oil |
garnish |
paprika |
chopped parsley |
chopped onion |
Directions:
1. Blend chick peas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice and a small amount of oil until smooth 2. SERVE 3. Place on a platter and garnish 4. GARNISH 5. Lightly sprinkle the dip with paprika, for colour as well as flavour 6. Combine chopped onion and parsley and decorate the edge of the platter with this mix |
