Want to spice up your boring tuna sandwich? This is a delicious alternative to plain tuna. Next time, I'll try it with dill pickles or relish because I prefer them to sweet pickle relish, but this is yummy. Bob Keeley, Otter, Montana. Ingredients:
6 ounces tuna, drained and flaked |
4 ounces cheddar cheese, cut into 1/4-inch cubes |
3 hard-cooked eggs |
1/3 cup mayonnaise |
3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish |
2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
6 hot dog buns, split |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. 2. Spread about 1/3 cup on bottoms of buns and replace tops. 3. Wrap each in foil. 4. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. |
