i have no idea where i found this recipe....but with tomato season in full bloom i do not want to lose it. have not tried it yet but i will when the tomatoes are ripe! Ingredients:
1 9 inch pie shell |
2 cups chopped ham |
2 medium tomatoes, sliced |
1 small onion, minced |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1 teaspoon basil |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. bake pie shell and cool. 2. line shell with ham. 3. cover ham with tomato slices. 4. sprinkle tomatoes with herbs and seasonings. 5. bake at 300 for 20 minutes. 6. combine mayo and cheese, spread over tomatoes. 7. bake 5-10 minutes or till cheese is bubbly. |
