This is an easy dip. It is hearty and delicious. Could almost be a light meal. Serve with Fritos or your favorite chips. Ingredients:
2-15 ounce cans chili without beans |
1-16 ounce can tamales, mashed or your favorite tamales |
1 large onion, finely chopped |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1 pound mild cheddar cheese, grated |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
4-5 drops tabasco |
Directions:
1. Remove wrapper from tamales and mash 2. Combine in top of double boiler all remaining ingredients 3. Heat thoroughly 4. Serve hot in chafing dish with Fritos OR favorite chips |
