This is delicious and easy to make. Fantastic served with cubes of fresh crusty bread, like marble rye or French baguette.
Ingredients:
2 garlic cloves, peeled
2 green onions, roughly chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 dashes worcestershire sauce
1 lemon, juice of
1 (9 ounce) package frozen artichoke hearts, thawed
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1 tablespoon flat leaf parsley, for garnish
1/8 teaspoon paprika, for garnish
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Place the garlic and green onions into the bowl of your food processor fitted with the chopping blade. Process until they are finely minced.
3. Add the sour cream, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, nutmeg, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Process until fully blended.
4. Now add the artichoke hearts and spinach. Pulse just a few times so that there are still nice chunks of artichoke heart.
5. Pour into a baking dish large enough to hold about 6 cups. Bake for 30 minutes.
6. After removing from the oven, sprinkle parsley and paprika over the top. Serve with chunks of crusty bread, bagel chips, or your favorite crackers.
