My MIL gave this recipe to me. Ingredients:
10 whole cloves |
2 cinnamon sticks (2 inch) |
3 cups water |
2 regular size tea bags |
2 (12 ounce) cans apricot nectar |
1/2-3/4 cup sugar |
1/4-1/3 cup lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Combine the cloves and cinnamon in a cheesecloth. 2. Set aside. 3. Bring the water to a boil over high heat and add the tea bags. 4. Remove from heat. 5. Cover and steep for 5 minutes. 6. Remove the tea bags. 7. Add the spice mixture and remaining ingredients to the tea. 8. Bring to a boil over high heat. 9. Remove from heat. 10. Remove spices. 11. Serve the tea while it's still hot. |
