Awesome nutty recipe. Great appetizer for parties. Enjoy Ingredients:
2 cups pecan halves |
1 cup dried tart cherries |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon seasoned salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Combine pecans and cherries in a medium bowl. 2. In a small bowl combine Worcestershire sauce, cayenne, garlic powder, seasoned salt, cumin and oregano then mix well. 3. Pour over pecans and stir to coat. 4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat then add pecan mixture. Cook stirring constantly for 5 minutes. 5. Do not allow mixture to burn. 6. Remove from heat and spread pecans on waxed paper to cool. 7. Store in a tightly covered container. |
