Thsis an easy way to pickle beets. You can either serve it as a side dish or cool and refrigerate for about 1 week. Ingredients:
1 beet per person |
apple cider vinegar |
sugar if that's your taste |
water |
Directions:
1. Peel or scrub the beets. 2. Dice or slice thinly. 3. Place in pot and add two thirds water, one third apple cider vinegar. 4. Bring to boil, covered and simmer 40 minutes 5. Serve as a side dish or refrigerate and eat within one week. |
