Using a coffee percolator, this cider is great on cold winter days. Recipe source: Cook time is perking time. Bon Appetit (November 1984) Ingredients:
8 cups apple cider |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
10 cinnamon sticks (3-inch) |
6 whole cloves |
Directions:
1. Pour cider into large percolator (8-10 cup). 2. Place remaining ingredients in percolator basket. 3. Perk 10 minutes. 4. Pour into mugs. 5. Garnish each with a cinnamon stick (from the Percolator basket) and serve. |
