Hot 'n Spicy Bean And Cheese Dip |

I listed the ingredients in our group, and Keni came up with this recipe. The dip is the best I've ever had, and really has an awesome kick to it. Served with flat bread, the flavor bursts with every bite. Ingredients:
8 oz package of cream cheese, softened |
2 chipotle peppers, diced |
1 cup shredded taco cheese |
1 cup mashed red kidney beans |
1 tomato, seeded and chopped |
1 tsp cumin |
dash cayenne pepper |
1/2 tsp garlic powder |
1/2 tsp onion salt |
salt and pepper to taste |
2 sprigs cilantro, chopped |
Directions:
1. Dice two chipotle peppers, and blend with cream cheese on the bottom of a medium sized bowl 2. Spread the mixture across the bowl evenly, and season with cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion salt and salt and pepper to taste 3. Place a layer of taco cheese 4. Layer the mashed kidney beans on top of the taco cheese. Season with a dash of cumin 5. Layer the chopped tomato on top of the beans, and salt to taste 6. Add more taco cheese with chopped cilantro 7. Serve on flat bread, and enjoy! |
