Hot Mulled Crock Pot Punch |

This is one of my favorite fall recipes. It is one of my mother's recipes. I love to make it for Thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers. It makes the house smell wonderful too. If you don't want the cider too sweet, you can leave out the brown sugar and it is still very good. Ingredients:
1 1/2 quarts cranberry juice |
2 quarts apple juice |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
4 cinnamon sticks |
1 1/2 teaspoons whole cloves |
Directions:
1. Pour cranberry and apple juices into crock pot. 2. Add brown sugar and salt. 3. Stir until dissolved. 4. Tie cinnamon sticks and cloves in cheesecloth or put them in a tea ball and add to crock pot. 5. Heat on low for 2 hours. 6. Remove cinnamon and cloves. 7. Serve hot. |
