Hot Milk Sponge Cake With Coconut Topping |

One of my friends baked this wonderful cake…. It is fluffy, ponge and you can use your favorite topping…. Very easy to prepare Ingredients:
4 eggs |
2 cup sugar |
2 tsp, vanilla |
2 cup flour |
2 tsp. baking powder |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1 cup milk |
2 ttbsp. margarina |
coconut topping |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/3 cup butter margarine |
1/4 cup milk or cream |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
1 cup shreded coconut |
Directions:
1. In mixing bowl, beat well eggs and add sugar and vanilla, et aside 2. Combine separately flour, baking powder and salt. 3. With a rubber spatula Fol. Dry ingredients into eggmixture. 4. In a small aucepan boil milk and margarine… then add slowly to batter, stirring gently . Pour into well greased and floured 7 x 12 “or 9x9” cake pan. Bake 30 – 35 minutes 5. Coconut Topping 6. Combineall ingredientsand spread on cake and broil fr 2 – 4 minutes until brown. |
