This is one of the family's favorite dips, it's been around a long time. Very easy to make, and sometimes we make a whole meal of it! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 lb breakfast sausage |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1 8 oz jar of picante sauce |
2 lbs of processed cheese food (like velveeta) |
Directions:
1. Cook and brown the 2 meats together, drain excess fat, then put into a crock pot. 2. Dump in the soup, picante sauce and cubed cheese. Let everything melt together on LOW setting, stirring occasionally til smooth. 3. Serve with chips, crackers, whatever you like. We prefer Tostitos. 4. Use the 'heat' you prefer on the sausage and picante sauce. |
