This is a wonderful hot italian sausage soup. Ingredients:
1 lb bulk hot italian sausage |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can italian stewed tomatoes |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 cup frozen italian vegetables |
3/4 cup green peppers or 3/4 cup sweet red pepper |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1/4 cup chicken broth |
1 teaspoon brown sugar |
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley |
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat. 2. In a saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. 3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. 4. Drain sausage and add to soup. 5. Heat through. 6. Enjoy! |
