Something for all you spice lovers! Comes from the Australian Womens Weekly cookbook. Cooking and prep times are approximate. Ingredients:
32 chicken wings |
3/4 cup vegetable oil |
2 cloves garlic, crushed |
1 tablespoon hot paprika |
1 tablespoon ground cumin |
1 tablespoon ground turmeric |
1 tablespoon ground coriander |
1 tablespoon grated lime rind |
2 teaspoons chili powder |
2 teaspoons hot curry powder |
Directions:
1. Make 2 deep cuts in the thickest part of each wing. 2. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. 3. Add chicken wings, mix well. 4. Refrigerate for three hours or overnight. 5. Cook wings in heated oiled barbecue, uncovered, until browned on both sides and tender. |
