Hot Granola Baked Apple

I invented this several years ago while desperate for something new. Turned out to be quite the tasty & filling meal!
Ingredients:
i fresh apple
1 cup of your favorite granola
option: use rolled oats or other whole-grain hot cereal mix
cinnamon
bits of butter or margarine
sugar or artificial sweetener
milk or yogurt or cottage cheese
Directions:
1. Cut apple into large chunks (okay to leave peeling on for more chewiness & vitamins).
2. Put into cereal bowl and top with granola, spices, butter & sweetener. Cover bowl and microwave on high for about 5 minutes, or till apple is cooked (check & stir once or twice).
3. Remove from microwave when done & carefully uncover
4. Add milk or yogurt or cottage cheese (for a bit of protein) and eat with a spoon.
