This is a great hot spicy dip great with crusty bread chunks or chicken tenders or veggies. or crackers..............enjoy.......... courtesy of holiday appetizers Ingredients:
2- teaspoons olive oil or vegetable oil |
8- medium green onions sliced |
2- teapoons finely chopped gingerroot |
2 - cloves of garlic finely chopped |
1/2- cup peanut butter |
1/2 - cup chicken broth |
1- tablespoon brown sugar |
1/2- teaspoon cround red pepper ( cayenne) |
1- ( 8 ounce) package of cream cheese ( softened) |
assorted raw veggies and chicken nuggets or tenders and crackers |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a 10 inch skillet over medium heat-high heat ................ 2. cook onions, gingerroot, and garlic in oil about 2 minutes, stirring frequently under tender........................... 3. stir in remaining ingredients except veggies 4. cook about 2 minutes , stirring constantly, until hot 5. serve dip hot with veggies crackers and bread chunks and chiken tenders 6. serves 10- 12 7. note ........if the dip thickens up to much you add a few tablespoons of the chicken broth to it !! |
