This is a recipe my grandma gave me, it is excellent! Ingredients:
6 potatoes, medium |
3/4 cup onion, chopped |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons pepper |
1/3 cup vinegar |
6 slices bacon |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
3/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Boil potatoes in their jackets. Peel and slice thinly. Fry bacon and chopped onion. Chop the bacon. 2. Blend flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Put the mentioned ingredients minus the potatoes into a pot and cook over low heat until smooth. Add water and vinegar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in potatoes carefully. Serve hot. |
