This is a rich chocolatey pie that is very simple to make. I think I found it several years ago in a department store employee's cookbook. It is a favorite of my step-daughter and she asks for it all of the time. Give it a try, and if you are a chocolate lover, I think you will enjoy it as much as we do. Most of the ingredients you should have on-hand!! Ingredients:
1 unbaked pie shell |
1 cup white sugar |
1/4 cup all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup butter |
4 tablespoons cocoa powder |
2 eggs, beaten |
Directions:
1. Mix all filling ingredients except eggs; until smooth. Beat in eggs and mix well. Pour into the unbaked pie crust. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Center may still be jiggly, but will set as it cools. Great with ice cream or whipped cream. |
