Messy but good. Top it with ice cream and you'll go back for seconds. Ingredients:
1 cup self rising flour |
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup baking cocoa-divided |
1/2 cup milk |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 cup packed brown sugar |
1 3/4 cup hot water |
Directions:
1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour,sugar,and 3 tablespoons cocoa. 2. Add milk,oil,and vanilla. Stir until smooth. 3. Spread batter into a lightly greased 9 baking pan. 4. Combine remaining cocoa and brown sugar. Sprinkle over batter. 5. Pour hot water over all. DO NOT STIR! 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. 7. Serve warm topped with your favorite ice cream or whipped topping. |
