Great for cold-weather holiday gatherings. Could also be made in the crockpot. Ingredients:
16 oz can sliced peaches, drained |
16 oz can pear halves, drained and chopped |
16 oz can plums, drained and pitted |
16 oz can apricot halves, drained |
16 oz jar spiced apple rings, drained |
20 oz can pineapple chunks, drained |
6 oz jar cherries, drained |
16 oz applesauce |
6 t margarine |
3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 tsp allspice |
1/2 c chopped walnuts or pecans |
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients; spread in 13x9 dish. 2. Combine applesauce, margarine, brown sugar and spices in saucepan; heat thoroughly. Spoon over fruit; sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 300 for 45 minutes. |
