I serve this as a side for every holiday dinner. It is excellent with turkey at Thanksgiving and Christmas and equally as tasty with ham at Easter. I have also included it on brunch buffets. I have added fruit cocktail or sliced peaches to extend the number of servings. Leftovers can be topped with my Crunchy Granola and reheated as a fruit crisp, or used as a topping on oatmeal. Ingredients:
1/2 lb dried prune |
1/2 lb dried apricot |
1/2 lb raisins |
1/2 lb golden raisin |
2 cans chunk pineapple, with juice |
1 can mandarin orange, drained |
1 can cherry pie filling |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in an oven safe casserole dish. 2. Bake at 350F for 1 hour. |
