A fun and healthy pizza that the kids should love! Thanks to Chef Joey Z for the Easy No Yeast Pizza Dough Easy No Yeast Pizza Dough . The crust comes out nice and crispy. You can add your own family's favorite toppings or let each person put toppings on their own personal pizza. Ingredients:
1 lb pizza dough (or 1 recipe easy no yeast pizza dough, makes two 7inch pizzas) |
2 teaspoons olive oil, divided |
1/2 cup tomato sauce, divided |
2 low-fat hot dogs, sliced into thin rounds |
1 cup low fat mozzarella, shredded |
1/2 cup green bell pepper, sliced thinly |
1/4 cup sweet onion, quartered and sliced thinly |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Make pizza dough according to Chef Joey Z's directions 1-5. 3. Shape dough into two balls. 4. Flatten with hands and shape into two 7 inch discs. 5. Place each disc onto lightly oiled cookie sheet. Let rest a few minutes while you prepare the toppings. 6. Spread 1 teaspoons olive oil over each pizza crust. 7. Spread 1/4 cup tomato sauce over each pizza. 8. Scatter sliced hot dogs over pizzas and top each with 1/2 cup mozzarella. 9. Scatter green peppers and onions over top, or choose your own toppings. 10. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly. |
