this is it guys if ya come from jersey ya know what I mean a chili dog with onions and chili no beans DEEP FRIED paterson lodi clifton fairlawn I miss the dogs so hear we go it as close I can get but they are still the best I will not take that away from them BUT ICANT FLY TO GET A GOOD ONE EVERY TIME I CRAVE Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/4 cup mustard |
1 teaspoon vinegar |
1 teaspoon allspice |
4 tablespoons chili powder |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1 cup tomato puree |
1/4 cup catsup |
1 large onion, chopped very fine |
8 hot dogs (in caseing ) |
8 hot dog buns |
Directions:
1. Fry groundbeef till done add next 11 items add 1/4 cup onion from the chopped onion and simmer sauce for 30 min.
2. fry hotdogs in crisco till they crack.
3. put dog on bun then sauce onion and mustard.
