My mom made this all the time when I was growing up. It's another comfort food dish-very tasty. You can so easily add other ingredients to taste and the dish is transformed into another lovely creation. My mom made it with the following simple few ingredients. I now make it with garlic, onion and cheese. Ingredients:
1 lb elbow macaroni |
1.5 (28 ounce) cans diced tomatoes |
1 lb ground beef |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook noodles al dente. 2. Meanwhile brown meat and drain fat. 3. Combine noodles, beef, tomatoes and spices and serve. 4. You can also add a can of kidney beans if you'd like. |
