Ingredients:
3 qt cranberry juice cocktail |
3/4 cup sugar |
3 (3 1/2-inch) cinnamon sticks |
4 whole star anise |
1 (3-inch) piece gingerroot, peeled and thinly sliced |
2 cups amber or dark rum |
Directions:
1. Bring cranberry juice, sugar, spices, and ginger to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved, then simmer, covered, 10 minutes. Stir in rum and serve hot. |
