A very dear friend who was in the catering business in Decatur, AL gave me this recipe. Since it calls for canned crab you can always have the ingredients on hand. It is always a big hit. Ingredients:
2 (7 ounce) cans crab |
16 ounces cream cheese |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
2 teaspoons dry mustard |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 cup chicken broth |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients. 2. Pour into greased pan. 3. Bake at 350 for around 30 minutes or until bubbles. 4. Serve with toast points. |
