Curl up and enjoy a mug of this chocolatey cocoa on a frosty winter's day. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup baking cocoa |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
5 cups water |
2 cups milk |
1 cup whipping cream |
garnishes: mini marshmallows or whipped topping, peppermint sticks |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, cocoa and salt in a saucepan; whisk in water. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Reduce heat to medium; add milk and cream. Heat thoroughly and keep warm over low heat. If desired, serve topped with marshmallows or whipped topping and peppermint sticks. |
