Hot Chicken Salad Casserole |

This is an old recipe passed down from my grandmother. Very simple but wonderful. Ingredients:
2 cups diced cooked chicken |
2 cups diced celery |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon grated onion |
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
1 cup mayonnaise (i use hellman's) |
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
2/3 cup crushed potato chip (i use ruffles) |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except cheese and potato chips. 2. Pour into a shallow, buttered 2-quart casserole. 3. Combine cheese and potato chips and spread on top. 4. Bake uncovered 20 minutes at 350 degrees. |
