Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup(s) chocolate syrup |
1 tablespoon(s) confectioners' sugar |
2 cup(s) heavy cream, divided use |
1/2 cup(s) plus 2 tablesponns maraschino cherry syrup, divided use |
4 red maraschino cherries with stems |
6 cup(s) whole milk |
Directions:
1. Combine milk, 1 cup of the cream, the chocolate syrup and 1/2 cup of the cherry syrup in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until mixture bubbles around the edges (but don't let it come to a boil.). Set aside and keep warm. 2. Using a mixer, beat remaining cream until foamy. Gradually add the confectioners' sugar and remaining 2 tablespoons cherry syrup and beat until soft peaks form. 3. Divide the hot chocolate among 4 mugs and top each with some whipped cream and one cherry. |
