My kids like this Ingredients:
4 submarine sandwich buns |
1 lb ground beef |
1 medium green pepper, chopped |
1 small onion, chopped |
2 -3 garlic cloves, minced |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon oregano |

1. Cut a thin slice off the top of each submarine bun; set top aside. 2. Hollow out bottom of bun, leaving a 1/2 inch shell; reserve 1/2 cup of bread. 3. In a skillet, cook beef, green pepper, onion, and garlic until meat is browned; drain. 4. Stir in soup, Worcestershire, reserved bread, and oregano; mixing well. 5. Spoon mixture into buns; top each with a slice of cheese. 6. Replace tops. 7. Place sandwiches on an ungreased baking sheet. 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted. |
