Cozy up with Hot Caramel Apple Cider, and if you want a little added warmth, don't forget the apple jack liqueur. Ingredients:
1/2 gallon apple cider |
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed |
1 1/2 teaspoons cider vinegar |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 4-inch cinnamon stick |
6 whole cloves |
1 1 orange, sliced |
optional: 1/2 cup apple jack liqueur |
garnish: 1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except topping in a slow cooker. Cover; cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hours. Strain; discard spices and orange. Serve in mugs, drizzling a teaspoonful of topping into each mug. |
