Rich, thick butterscotch sauce - ideal for serving with vanilla ice cream. Ingredients:
4 ounces brown sugar |
2 tablespoons golden syrup |
1 1/2 ounces butter |
1/8 pint evaporated milk |
Directions:
1. Melt all the ingredients slowly (apart from the evaporated milk). 2. Once melted add the evaporated milk and simmer for 10 minutes. 3. Serve immediately once cooked. |
