Hot Buttered Pineapple Smoothie |

Now that the weather is getting cooler, a warm beverage may be just the ticket! Ingredients:
5 1/2 cups pineapple juice |
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine |
10 whole cloves |
3 cinnamon sticks |
1 lemon, sliced |
Directions:
1. In large saucepan, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, butter, cloves and cinnamon sticks. 2. Bring to a boil. 3. Simmer 5 minutes. 4. Add lemon slices. 5. Serve hot in mugs. |
