Found on the internet. Sounds super simple. Ingredients:
2 pints mussels |
4 ounces butter |
salt and pepper |
2 tablespoons chopped chives |
Directions:
1. Wash mussels thoroughly under running water. 2. Remove beards and discard any open shells. 3. Place mussels in pan and cook over a high temperature for 7 or 8 minutes, until the shells open. 4. Season with salt or pepper. 5. Place in a serving dish and pour cooking juices over. 6. Dot with knobs of butter and sprinkle with chopped chives. 7. Serve with fresh brown bread and butter. |
