From my friend Brenda. Always a hit at her parties. She serves with a large tray of big blue corn tortilla chips, celery stalks, and breadsticks. Ingredients:
2 - 8oz blocks cream cheese |
1 cup creamy blue cheese dressing (i use tyler florence recipe, posted - very quick and easy, better than bottled) |
3 chicken breasts |
1/2 package taco seasoning |
1 t olive oil |
1 cup shredded mexican flavor cheese (or your fave, pepper jack, etc) |
6 oz of frank’s red hot sauce |
1 pinch of chili powder (to taste) |
6 to 8 jalapenos slices |
Directions:
1. Cut chicken into small pieces 2. Drizzle fry pan with olive oil, saute chicken with taco seasoning until light brown. 3. In a bowl combine: cream cheese, blue cheese dressing, Frank’s hot sauce, and chili powder. 4. Pour cheese mixture into a serving dish and place your chicken on top. 5.
