This is a savory quick and easy slaw that is a tad bit out of the ordinary.. Ingredients:
2 bacon slices |
1 (16oz package read to eat coleslaw) |
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar |
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar |
3 tablespoons water |
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium high heat until crisp; remove bacon from skillet, reserving drippings in skillet. 2. Set bacon aside. 3. Add coleslaw to drippings, saute over medium high heat about 3 minutes. 4. Add vinegar and next 4 ingredients; cook 1 minute, stirring constlantly. 5. Remove from heat; crumble bacon, and stir into coleslaw mixture. 6. Serve warm. 7. Enjoy! |
