This is an old standby! Terrific on spinach salads Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon cornstarch |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 large eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
1/2 cup milk |
1 teaspoon mustard powder |
1/2 lb bacon |
1 teaspoon bacon drippings |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch and mustard powder in a blender.add beaten egg and mix. 2. Add milk and vinegar. 3. Pour into a pan and cook till thick - 4. Fry bacon and crumble and add to dressing. 5. May add a little of bacon grease to thin. 6. Very good on spinach or salads. 7. Serve warm. |
