Hot Artichoke Parmesan Dip |

I have loved this recipe since the first time I had it back in the 1980s. Sometimes, I use half the mayonnaise and use it as a side dish. Ingredients:
2 cans artichoke hearts, drained |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1 cup grated parmesan cheese (freshly grated if possible) |
2 cloves of garlic |
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper |
salt to taste |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F 2. Either chop artichoke hearts and garlic finely or grind them in a food processor. 3. In a large bowl combine all ingredients. 4. Place in a 1 quart baking dish. 5. Sprinkle with a little more cayenne. 6. Bake about 30 minutes until the top browns. 7. Serve the traditional way with wheat thins. |
