Hot And Spicy Rice

this is a good rice with hot flacours - and you can add or leave out anything you dont like to enhance it.
Ingredients:
2 cups of basmati rice
chopped/diced onion (medium or large depending on how much you like)
1/2 cup corn kernals
1/2 cup peas
chilli - chopped finely as much as you like
spices to your own flavour (i use hot ones - mainly chilli, cayene, corriander, cumin, cardomom etc)
chopped - shrimps about 1 cup.
Directions:
1. boil/cook rice till cooked
2. lightly fry onion and add rice - corn, peas and chopped shrimp
3. add spices as you please - depending on if you like it mild, hot or like me and bitey hot.
4. this can also be made with Italian herbs, good with oregano, thyme and marjoram - and chopped proscuito crumbled into it.
5. can be vaired any way - but this is my basic one - i have heaps of Indian herbs, madrass curry, Tandori mix, Tunisian herbs, and lots of others that i found on the internet and have purchased from time to time. its also good with a bit of garlic and ground black pepper.
