Adjust peppers to your preferred heat level. Nice adult snack for a change of pace. Recipe from my friend Karin. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups parmesan cheese |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/8 teaspoon ground thyme |
1 cup popcorn |
1/4 cup melted unsalted butter |
Directions:
1. In a food processor or blender, finely blend the Parmesan, salt, pepper flakes, cumin, and thyme for 3 minutes. 2. Prepare popcorn. 3. Toss with butter and then sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the popcorn and toss to mix. |
