This cheesy bean dip is a a long standing must-have for any of my family gatherings or parties. I cannot leave without someone asking for the recipe. Ingredients:
1 can refried beans |
1/2 8oz. package cream cheese |
1/4 c. sour cream |
1/2 c. chunky salsa |
4 oz. can diced green chiles |
1 1.25 oz. pkg. taco seasoning |
2 c. shredded cheese (i like a cheddar jack mexican mix) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Mix all ingredients, save 1 cup of cheese, together. 3. Divide mixture between two pie plates. 4. Sprinkle remaining cheese over bean mixture. 5. Bake 1, covered with aluminum foil, for 45-50 min. 6. Uncover and continue to bake until cheese is golden and bubbling. 7. *If you only need one dip, the second one freezes wonderfully* |
