Hungarian veal and sour cream blintz. Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped fine |
1 lb veal, chopped fine |
1 tablespoon oil |
1 tablespoon paprika |
1 cup water |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 cup sour cream |
2 eggs |
4 cups milk |
2 teaspoons oil |
salt |
5 1/2 ounces flour |
Directions:
1. FILLING:. 2. Fry onion and veal in oil. 3. Add paprika. 4. Add 1 cup water; cook until tender. 5. Remove meat from broth. 6. Mix flour in sour cream. 7. Add to broth. 8. CREPES:. 9. Add eggs to milk. 10. Add oil and salt. 11. Mix in flour. 12. Drop by tablespoonfuls; swirl to make a thin crepe. 13. Add meat filling, to which 4 tablespoons sour cream mixture is added, on top of pancake. 14. Make a burrito package. 15. Put in pan; repeat until done. 16. Pour sauce over. 17. Bake for 20 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit until warmed. |
