Not your typical mashed potatoe dish. It is a favorite in our family and always requested as the dish that I make. If you love horseradish than you will love this recipe. For me, the more horseradish the better !! Enjoy. Ingredients:
5 lbs potatoes |
2 garlic cloves |
8 ounces cream cheese |
16 ounces sour cream |
1/4 cup butter |
3 -4 teaspoons prepared horseradish |
1/4 cup milk |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Peel and boil potatoes as you normally do but toss in 2 cloves of garlic. Remove from heat and drain leaving the garlic in with the potatoes. Add butter, cream cheese, sour cream and horseradish and mix with electric mixer. Add salt and papper to taste. Gradually add in milk until you get the consistancy perferred. The more you add the creamier the potatoes. I garnish with a shake of paprika and parsley and dap of butter in the center. These are so good. I hope you enjoy! |
