This is probably one of my top 10 potato dishes and I make potatoes at least 4 times a week. This one is so full of great flavor everyone loves it. Enjoy Ingredients:
4 pounds red skinned potatoes |
2 teaspoons salt |
3/4 stick butter |
3/4 cup sour cream |
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish |
2 tablespoons chopped dill |
Directions:
1. Peel and quarter potatoes. 2. Put in a pout then pour cold water to come just above the potatoes. 3. Add salt then stir and cover. 4. Set on heat on top of the stove. 5. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium and boil for 20 minutes. 6. Drain in colander and return to pot. 7. Add butter and start mashing potatoes. 8. When they get pretty smooth add sour cream and horseradish. 9. Mix until smooth and creamy. 10. Add dill and mix well with a wooden spoon. |
