HORSERADISH DEVILED EGGS My husband and I attended a fund raising poker tournament and cook-off Labor Day Weekend. I was asked to be one of seven judges which was a real honor. It was difficult because there were so many great entries. Read more . This recipe took first place in the Appetizer Category (31 entries). Ingredients:
6 hard boiled eggs |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish |
1 teaspoon dill weed |
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1 teaspoon paprika |
Directions:
1. Cut eggs in half lengthwise then remove yolks and set whites aside. 2. In a bowl mash egg yolks then add mayonnaise, horseradish, dill, mustard, salt and pepper. 3. Mix well then spoon into egg whites. 4. Sprinkle with paprika then refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. |
