this is just a good alternative to everyday mashed potatoes Ingredients:
7-8 russet potatoes pelled and quartered |
1 stick of butter |
1/3-1/2 cup of warm milk |
8 0z. sharp yellow cheddar cheese |
8 oz white extra sharp cheedar |
3 t. horseradish |
4 slices crispy bacon crumbled (or more if you like) |
2 scallions chopped for garnish |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Boil potatoes till tender and drain 2. add butter , milk and mash 3. Add cheese Horseradish and bacon and stir till everything is melted and well combined put in a bowl and garnish top with sliced scallions |
