Good to spread on crackers. Put the horseradish in as you like it. Final chill time not included. Ingredients:
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated |
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
1 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted, divided in half |
1 -2 teaspoon prepared horseradish cream |
Directions:
1. Combine cheddar cheese with cream cheese in a medium bowl. 2. Add Â1/2 cup walnuts and horseradish; mix until well blended. 3. Refrigerate about 20 minutes, or until easy to handle. 4. Shape mixture into log shape; roll in remaining Â1/2 cup walnuts. 5. Wrap in plastic wrap that has been lightly greased. 6. Refrigerate until firm at least one hour. 7. Serve as a spread for crackers, I like ritz crackers. |
