I got this recipe from my friend Margaret. I haven't tried it yet but it really sounds good. Ingredients:
1 lg. box vanilla pudding (not instant) |
1 yellow cake mix |
6 oz. butterscotch cake |
2 c. pecan pieces |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Mix pudding according to package directions. 3. Take out 1/2 cup of pudding and dispose, this does make a big difference in the taste and texture of the cake. 4. Mix rest of pudding with dry cake mix until blended. 5. Pour into an 11 x 9 baking dish. 6. Sprinkle butterscotch chips on top then pecan pieces. 7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. |
